Islamic Finance Council UK delivers the inaugural James Gibb Stuart Trust presentation on shared values between Islamic and ethical finance. The event was hosted in Bromsgrove on the theme, "Promoting the real Plan B: Driving our solution Forward." The 2011 conference was the 15th annual Bromsgrove conference, which was established to bring together concerned individuals and organizations, to discuss and debate on reform of the money system, and to develop projects to promote solutions. This years conference was specially honoured by the appearance of James Gibb Stuart who at the grand age of 91 made the effort to attend from Scotland and receive the Thomas Attwood Award.
